Super Mario Bros 3 is an action-adventure video game developed and distributed by Nintendo and launched on the market in 1988 in Japanese territory and in 1990 in the rest of the territories. It is the third installment in the Super Mario series released on the NES console. For many it is considered the best game released on the NES and within the 2d platforms it is considered the best game in the Super Mario franchise.
The game resumes the adventures of Mario and Luigi to save Princess Toadstool from the hands of Bowser Koopa, at least in the US and Europe where Super Mario Bros 2 was not released. The game was designed by Shigeru Miyamoto and the development team from Nintendo.
The game led to the release of a television series and the game's adaptation to numerous Nintendo consoles in later years. There is a difference between the version released in Japan and the version released in other markets.

The Story of Super Mario Bros 3 NES
The Mushroom Kingdom has been a peaceful place thanks to the brave actions of Mario and Luigi. The Mushroom Kingdom forms an entrance to the Mushroom World where all is not well, Bowser has sent his seven kids to do mischief in the peaceful Mushroom World, they stole the Royal Magic Wands from every country in the Mushroom World and used it to turn to the Kings in animals. Mario and Luigi must retrieve the Royal Magic Wands from Bowser's seven kids and return the kings to their true forms.
The Controller in Super Mario Bros 3 NES
For the first player Mario we use control 1 and for the second player Luigi we use control 2. With the START button we start the game, while we are playing we pause the game, to continue with the game we press the START button again.
The SELECT button is used to move the cursor on the title screen and game over screen.
With the control pad Left and Right Mario can walk left and right, if we press the B button while moving left or right Mario will run. With the Pad Up controller Mario can enter a door; if we press the A button at the same time, Mario can jump out of the water; if we press the A button at the same time Mario can enter upside-down pipes. How to Play Super Mario Bros 3 NES
We start the game by selecting the 1 Player Game or 2 Player Game mode,
in both cases we will start in world 1 with a total of 5 lives, there are
many ways to obtain extra lives that we will see throughout this guide.
All the worlds have a general map divided into several scenes as well as
mini-fortresses and a castle as well as other elements that we will
see.
In each of the worlds we find a general map, this map contains the scenes
that we will visit as we progress through the game. In each world we start
in the Start Panel (a) and from there we move following the paths until we
reach an Action Scene Panel (b) there we press the A button to enter the
scene, in case we are defeated in the scene we return to the previously
passed point or to the Start Panel.
Once a scene is over, the Action Scene Panel becomes a Clear Panel (c)
and you can freely pass through this point, if it is in the 2 player Game
and the scene is completed by Luigi, an L will appear.
Inside the world map we find a Spade Panel (d) this is a slot machine type mini game, the object of this mini game is to align the images, each time you press the A button the image will gradually stop, if you manage to complete it correctly an image you get extra lives.

World 1 Grass Land
Scene 1-1

Scene 2-4

there we jump to the block and then we enter the pipe, there is nothing
special about the blocks in this part, when we leave the pipe if we are
Racoon Mario we can fly and go to the left there we find some coins, we
finish the scene.
Scene 3-3
We move forward preventing the big fish from eating us, we reach an area where we find a musical note and a Koopa, with the help of the Koopa we break the bricks and discover the P switch, press it and collect the coins, be careful with the fish.
We continue and later we find some special blocks that we can grab, we
launch it to the block on the left and discover a P switch, we continue and
when we reach the pipe we can continue advancing and we will reach a block

Mini Fortress 1
