Developed by Konami in 1989 and released in Japan, in the USA by Konami's Ultra Games and in Europe by Palcon Software. This game is based on the 1987 tv series. The game is known in Europe as "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" and in Japan as "Geki Kame Ninja Den".

Area 1: Rescuing April.

When we get out of this sewer we simply enter the building, it is recommended to equip Raphael to pass this building, he can easily defeat the flying enemies, at the end we will reach the Rocksteady boss. To defeat this boss it is best to use Donatello, this enemy jumps a lot we must be careful but we will defeat him easily. Area 2: Protecting the dam.

 

The bombs with which the Foot Clan wants to destroy the dam are in the lake, we must find a way to reach it. This part of the level has no major complication we just have to advance along the only possible way defeating the enemies that we find, in this level we will find a half pizza and a whole pizza, use them properly. The only drawback that we can have is almost at the end we will have to make a jump that if we do not do well we will have to repeat much of the level. We go out at the top of the dam, defeat the enemies and at the end we jump into the river.

This level will be passed by swimming. It is recommended to practice a little because this level is somewhat complicated due to the tightness of the path. In this level we must locate eight bombs in a period of 2:20 but not everything is so easy we will find electric walls, electric algae and algae that trap us, we must dodge them all although it is recommended to use all the turtles until it has little life left and then change it for another, once we have deactivated all the bombs we will have saved the dam.

Compared to the previous areas, this one is bigger than usual. In order to destroy these barriers we will have to look for Anti Foot Clan Missille. From the beginning we go up and turn left there we will find a building where we will enter, in this building besides finding Anti Foot Clan Missille we will also find pizza that will help us to recover life.

Once we have accumulated enough Anti Foot Clan Missille we will be free to explore the map. The recommended path is from where we grab the Anti Foot Clan Missille we advance to the left, we go down and with the help of the Anti Foot Clan Missille we destroy the barriers, we continue now to the right by the only possible way, we go down and we will arrive to a place where there are two continuous buildings and two doors our goal is the item Kiai, I recommend collecting this item until 50 will be very useful in the future.

We will check weapons and items as the foot clan is nearby. From the last building we go down to the bottom avoiding all the enemies especially those that throw us into the water. Area 4: Searching for the Blimp.

 

In this area we must find the secret underground enemy base, for this we must go through several buildings and holes. Each location is numbered from number 01 to 18. As soon as we start we will enter the first building number 01, at the entrance we will see a whole pizza we will use it to fill the health of all the characters, once we have done this we will advance along the way we will find Rope we will go up until we reach the roof there we will use the rope three times, after crossing the buildings we will find an slice o' pizza, we go down to the exit.

We will go up and enter through the only hole we will have reached the zone 02, this area is normal here we will face Mutant Flying Beetle and Boomerang Thrower as well as lasers that shoot in all four directions. We advance defeating the enemies down and we will face the Boomerang Thrower defeat the enemies and go out.

Once we have left zone 02 we find two holes, the upper one leads to zone 03 while the lower one leads to zone 04, crossing both zones is relatively simple, just defeat the enemies and that's it, it is indistinct which way we take because both will lead us to the same place at the end but we will go through different areas. If you take the path through zone 03 when leaving you will arrive to zone 06.

Passing through zone 06 is not complicated, we only have to defeat the enemies we find, avoid the lasers and spikes that are in the way, exit and enter through the only hole and we will have reached zone 08, defeat the enemies and that's it.

Now if we take the path through the area 04 we will see that crossing it is not difficult just kill the enemies and go out, we enter the hole below and reach the area 05 here we will find several enemies and a large magnet that attracts us to jump it is recommended to use a sub weapon to destroy the enemies and cross without falling on the spikes we go out and enter the only hole. In zone 07 we will find the magnets again so we must be cautious, we will also find half pizza that will help to recover some health.

Once we have exited we will reach the area where we leave the path that we took if we entered the area 03. We will enter through the hole that is above, go through this area is easy just defeat the enemy and ready to go out we will have reached the main track.

From the hole that takes us to zone 10 we advance to the right we will find a hole that leads us to zone 12, in case a turtle has been captured we will follow the path to the end where we will find zone 13. In zone 12 we will find many enemies that we will carefully defeat avoiding falling on the spikes. At the end unexpectedly we will have our reward, a whole pizza that we will take advantage of to recover health. At the exit we take the hole below that will take us to zone 15.

If we decide to take the path through zone 13 we will arrive to zone 14 there we must be very careful with the fire because it kills us automatically, the good thing is that we will find the item Kiai, carefully we grab it, likewise in this area we will find the magnets that complicate us so much, at the end we go out and enter the hole below so we will arrive to zone 15.

In area 15 we will find some enemies that we must defeat in the middle we will find a whole pizza, we must be careful at the end because there is fire that defeats us instantly, when we leave we will have two alternatives zone 16 and zone 17. In zone 16 we will find the invincibility item and half pizza, with the invincibility we defeat the enemies easily at the end we will find a whole pizza, this zone has no exit.

In zone 17 we will face some enemies after defeating him we go down a small space here we will find slice o' pizza. From here we will be very agile as they come two screens where a wall of spikes will go closing if it catches us instantly lose life we must move fast but with firm steps especially at the end. Any false step and we will lose a turtle so be very careful.

Once we overcome the obstacle we will reach zone 18 here we will finally reach the Foot Clan's hideout and the boss that guards this lair.

The boss of this area is Big Mouser, this boss will attack us throwing two laser beams from his eyes and then from his mouth he will not throw mouser, to defeat this boss is simple, the ideal is to place under him and with Donatello attack him when he opens his mouth, we will repeat this action until we defeat him. After defeating the big Mouser, the turtles will go up to the Blimp, we will have to go to the enemy base, and with this we finish this area.

Area 5: Foot Clan Base.

 

This phase takes place at night, everything is dark, we will see overflying search light if they detect us automatically alert and foot soldier will come to attack us, so we must avoid the searchlight. In this area we have two hangars and three holes. First we will explore the hangars in search of a turtle if it has been captured, for this we go to the hangar that is on the left. There we will find items and pizza.

Entering this hangar we will see some blocks that can be broken, we break them and go down in this part we will find the captured turtle. We go up and watch out for the Boulder Bird and the Wall Crawler. At the end we will find half pizza. At the top we will find slice o' pizza and a whole pizza. It is recommended not to climb up here but to use the half pizza at the bottom.

In the second hangar you will find the item Kiai, but it will not be easy to grab, here the enemies attack you unexpectedly so you must be attentive also the same mechanics of the game leaves you little room for maneuver so you must be cautious. Also mentioned in the top left you will find a whole pizza but grab it is a challenge, but not worth it in the first hangar you get the pizza easier.

Once we have visited the hangars it is time to look for the Technodrome that is in the pits, the location of this is completely random, in the pits we will find new enemies, the most difficult of these is the Mutant Porcupine. We must explore each of the tunnels to find the boss of this area, at the end of each tunnel we will find a door marked with the Foot Clan mark, if we are lucky we will find the Technodrome boss.

The Technodrome Guardian is perhaps the most complex boss that we will find in this game, to defeat it we must first defeat the Front Electric Generator, taking care that it does not hurt us, in the same way we must take care of the Foot Soldier; to avoid this we must destroy the Foot Soldier Hatch, but taking care of the Technodrome Turret, with the difficulty that we are on "caterpillar wheels" it is difficult to move here.

We must also defeat the Back Electric Generator, once defeated we will have disarmed the Technodrome guardian, now we will focus on the eye that is on it, it is best to use Donatello as this can defeat it without risking much, during the fight with this boss we must be careful, because in the next area we will not find pizza easily. Defeated this boss now we will enter the Technodrome for the final battle.

Area 6: Technodrome.

 

As soon as we start this level we will find new enemies (the Japanese version has previous enemies but not in the US version). The first enemy we will encounter will be Jetpack Lasersoldier, this enemy is difficult to defeat and does a lot of damage so be careful. Another enemy we will find will be the Wall Turret, this enemy is not difficult to defeat, we must dodge his attacks and take advantage of the moment to attack him.

Another enemy that we will find will be the Flying Robot, this enemy must be defeated quickly before it hurts us finally the last enemy we will find is the Mecha Kangaroo. As soon as we start the level we defeat the enemies down the stairs we defeat the enemies and down we will reach a long corridor, at the bottom we will find a whole pizza.

Here we will have two ways if we go up to the end of the corridor we will reach an area where we will find enemies we will defeat them and follow the only way to reach the door we will find section 2. We continue and cross taking care of the enemies and at the end we will find the Kiai, we return and go down we continue to the right, again we go down in this part to the right we will find half pizza, to the left down the stairs we will find a whole pizza. We go down to the right is the exit of section 1 by its second exit.

If during the corridor instead of going up the stairs we go down we will reach an area with spikes, we cross from block to block avoiding falling on the spikes; we go down and quickly move to the left, if we go down we will reach an area where we will rescue a turtle if it is captured. We go up and continue to the left and we will find the exit. In this part we will be in the area where we stayed previously. From here we continue to the left down and now we move to the right at the end we will find the invincibility down and move to the left at the end we will find a door.

We will reach an area consisting of a long corridor that narrows as we advance, during this phase we will find many enemies, it is recommended to use the Kiai, we advance carefully until we reach the end, we go up and finally we will reach the Final Boss.

The final boss is Shredder, despite everything we have experienced in this game, this boss is not difficult, we will only have to dodge him, Shredder will look for us but we will attack him, if we have the Kiai we will use it against him and we will easily defeat him.
